Blitzkrieg 2K16, a State-level intercollegiate event, will be held at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science here on September 28. Vijayawada: Blitzkrieg 2K16, a State-level intercollegiate event, will be held at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science here on September 28. Students of the Computer Science Department have been organising the annual event since 2006.
Speaking after releasing a poster on Blitzkrieg 2K16 here on Sunday, the college principal, Meka Ramesh, said that the event was meant to elicit the hidden talent of students and enhance their creativity. The events include paper and poster presentation, technical and movie quiz, coding and decoding, dumbsmash, treasure hunt, Mister and Miss Blitzkrieg.
JA Chowdary, IT advisor to the State government, and YV Ratna Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of APIMS India Private Limited, will inaugurate the Blitzkrieg. Degree and engineering students can participate in the event, the principal said.
HoD of Computer Science TS Ravikiran, Blitzkrieg organising secretary Kavuri Sridhar, director Vemuri Babu Rao and faculty were present.
