Addressing a video conference interacting with the NRIs, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday reiterated that special category status was the solution to all the problems in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a video conference interacting with the NRIs, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday reiterated that special category status was the solution to all the problems in Andhra Pradesh.
Pointing out that the special status would bring several incentives to the state, YS Jagan castigated Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for accepting a special package and watering down the special category status.
Speaking to the non-resident Telugus through a live show, he said that Chandrababu's actions of thanking the Union Ministry for giving the special package even though he said it was not an equivalent of the Special Category Status are nothing but a betrayal of the State’s interests.
The YSRCP Chief asserted that the party would relentlessly work towards achieving the special status for AP and added that the party MPs would even resign from their posts to fight for protecting the interests of the state if needed.
