Protest against attack on doctor
The SVRR government hospital doctors staged a protest on Tuesday condemning the attack on DCH (District coordinator of hospitals) at Kadiri in Anantapur district on Sunday.
Tirupati: The SVRR government hospital doctors staged a protest on Tuesday condemning the attack on DCH (District coordinator of hospitals) at Kadiri in Anantapur district on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Government Doctors’ Aassociation president Muniswar Reddy said that it reprehensible that the DCH, who went to enquire into the death of patient in Kadiri hospital, was brutally attacked by a mob and demanded strict measures to prevent such attacks on doctors in the government hospitals.
It may be noted that a pregnant woman died in Kadiri hospital while undergoing treatment sparking protest from the public in the town.The DCS, who was appointed to inquiry into the death of the woman, was attacked by the protestors, on Sunday, when he went to the hospital ( Kadiri) for probing into the death of the woman.
