VRO reported missing since May

Dhone (Kurnool): Village Revenue Officer (VRO) of Dhone Balaji Rao has been missing since May this year. According to Dhone tahsildar Muni Krishnaiah Raju, Balaji had joined as a VRO in 2015. He said that Balaji is a resident of Bethamcherla and used to commute daily from Bethamcherla to Dhone.
Balaji attended his last official meeting on May 16, this year and has been missing since then, said the tahsildar.
“We, too, didn’t know that he was missing until his wife Sharadamma approached us two days after he failed to show up. We tried to reach him on his mobile, but in vain,” said Muni Krishnaiah Raju. Circle Inspector of Bethamcherla Subramaniam said that Sharadamma had lodged a complaint on May 25.
