Anantapur: The State government has released the GO No. 274 sanctioning the prestigious ring road project for Anantapur connecting the four national highways at a cost of Rs 616 crore, according to local MLA Vaikuntam Prabhakar Chodhury.
Addressing a press conference at his residence here on Wednesday, Prabhakar said that the government has released Rs 129 crore under the first phase of the project for land acquisition and payment of compensation to those who might be displaced by the road project.He said that the underground project sanctioning is also underway. He said the government has approved a super specialty hospital for the district. He thanked the Chief Minister for the road and other development projects.
