Palacole: Roads and Buildings, Transport Minister Sidda Raghava Rao said that he will try to set up Vysya Corporation in the State after a discussion with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to assist poor people of Arya Vysya Community. He inaugurated the A/C marriage hall constructed by Arya Vyasa Sangham in Palcole on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the Arya Vysya people have to come forward to serve poor people. He said that the government took up the construction of roads and drainages at a cost of Rs 20 crore in the native village of Potti Sriramulu in Nellore district and if necessary additional funds would be sanctioned to the village, he added.

He said that he will try to solve the problems that are being faced by Arya Vysyas in the State. He said a new technology has been implemented in the construction of roads in the State.

Palacole MLA Nimmala Ramanayudu praised the services of Arya Vysyas to the society through various social service programmes. The Minister and MLA distributed sewing machines to women and tricycles to physically-disable people that were sponsored by Sridevi Aryavysa Seva Mandali, Krotta Venakteswarlu and Kanaka Ratnamala.

Earlier, the Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction works of Pulapalli-Agartipalem road in Palacole rural mandal. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the State government had speed up the construction of all roads in the State and added that within two years the State will be in the first place in providing better road facilities.

MLA Nimmala Rama Naidu, MLC Angara Ramamohan, Meka Seshu Babu, AMC Chairman Gottumukkala Gandhi Bhagavanraju, Municipal Vice-Chairman K Rojaramani and others participated in the programme.
