Leading Tax expert on the subject Rama Krishna Sangu, of Vishakapatnam and other tax consultants and experts will attend the event on October 27 at 5 pm. In a presser sent out here on Tuesday, the Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation (ACCIF) president (elect) Muthavarapu Muralikrishna and General Secretary Potluri Bhaskara Rao said the tax expert will explain the impact on the implementation of GST.

They said Rama Krishna Sangu is a noted Charted Accountant and having specialisation in Indirect Taxes and also a member in Indirect Taxes Committee of the ICAI.

They said the implementation of GST is considered to be a major economic reform since 1991 and added that it will replace the existing Central Excise duty, Service tax, CVD, SAD and CST at central level and VAT, Octroi, Luxury tax, Entertainment tax and taxes on lotteries at State level.

GST will be levied on supply of goods or supply of services. Muralikrishna has requested the members of the ACCIF to attend the programme to under the GST and its implications.
