In a tragic incident, four people lost their lives in Chittoor district. The accident took place when a speeding Sumo crashed into a Lorry at Kaigil of Byreddypalli mandal on Sunday morning.
In a tragic incident, four people lost their lives in Chittoor district. The accident took place when a speeding Sumo crashed into a Lorry at Kaigil of Byreddypalli mandal on Sunday morning.
The Sumo with passengers including in-charge Tehsildar Muralidhar, a junior assistant Harinath, and an attender Krishnaveni lost control after the tyre suffered a puncture. Following which the vehicle skidded and rammed into the lorry killing four of them on the spot and injuring two others.
The injured were rushed immediately to Madanapalli hospital for treatment. The officials were travelling to Chittoor of Revenue divisional elections, when the mishap occurred.
