Following the demonetization of high denomination currency notes, the public are facing a lot of difficulties. However, the Andhra Pradesh government gave a new blow to the state employees as they would be only be receiving half of their salary for the month of November.

Irrespective of their net salary, the state government will pay only half the salaries as RBI has unable to pay the full salary to the employees and pensioners. Instead they have decided to clear the first week payments of the total salaries and have cleared around Rs 3,000 crore for the same.

Nevertheless, by December 30, the government will pay the remaining amount into their bank accounts.

Rs 1,500 crore will be spared for state government employees and pensioners out of the Rs 3,000 crore while the remaining will be given for the central government employees and PSU staffers. Along with the Andhra employees, Telangana government employees are likely to be paid half salaries for this month.
