Man arrested after woman stabbed 17 times in Kakinada
A man stabbed his partner 17 times leaving her seriously injured after recording a conversation with another man. The incident took place in Elvinpeta, Kakinada.
A man stabbed his partner 17 times leaving her seriously injured after recording a conversation with another man. The incident took place in Elvinpeta, Kakinada.
The man identified as Chandrasekhar had a suspicion that his lover, Dhanalakshmi was having a relationship with another man and hence took up the horrific step.
The couple had been living together for three years now. The accused was caught by the police and was taken to the Kakinada Govt hospital after sustaining injuries in the incident. Police informed that Chandrasekhar had stabbed the victim 17 times with a knife and Dhanalakshmi, who is in a critical condition is undergoing treatment.
A case of attempt to murder under Section 306 IPC has been registered against the accused who is being kept under custody.
