Tirupati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be arriving on a three-day visit to his native village, Naravarivalli, 20 km from here on January 13 to celebrate Sankranti festival in his ancestral home in the village.

Tirupati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be arriving on a three-day visit to his native village, Naravarivalli, 20 km from here on January 13 to celebrate Sankranti festival in his ancestral home in the village.

According to an official press release here, the Chief Minister will arrive from Vijayawada to Renigunta airport on Friday evening.

Immediately, he will proceed to Naravaripalli by road where he will stay till his departure on January 15.

Sources said that Chandrababu along with his family will pay obeisance at the Samadhi of his parents Kharjura Naidu and Ammaniamma located in the village, on the occasion of Sankranti which is also observed as Peddapanduga by Telugus to remember and pay respects to their forefathers.

He will leave his residence on January 15 to proceed to Renigunta by road to leave for New Delhi by flight on Sunday. Meanwhile, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh already reached here.

He was accorded a warm welcome by party leaders and activists at the Renigunta airport after which he left for Naravaripalli.
