Technology giant Microsoft has evinced interest to extend its technology support for Andhra Pradesh. Microsoft chief executive officer Satya Nadella interacted with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Davos on Tuesday. As part of technological support, Microsoft would provide cloud technology to Andhra Pradesh.

Amaravati: Technology giant Microsoft has evinced interest to extend its technology support for Andhra Pradesh. Microsoft chief executive officer Satya Nadella interacted with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Davos on Tuesday. As part of technological support, Microsoft would provide cloud technology to Andhra Pradesh.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu asked the Microsoft CEO to work with the State government in e-governance and cyber security. Both of them mutually accepted to get development in hybrid cloud computing technology.

On this occasion, the CM explained the progress and technology which has been introduced for real time governance in the State.

Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) chairman Hiroyuki Ishige invited Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for investments awareness summit which to be held in Japan soon.

In an interaction with JETRO chairman said the investments of Japanese companies were increasing in AP. Reacting on this, the CM said the investments should be more when the State has investment-friendly environment. The CM also took part in a meeting with Shire International Pharma Company.

The Company proprietor Kim said that his company is interested to public private partnership as part of expansion plans. The CM suggested him to start their future projects in India with Amaravati as headquarters.

On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu invited Suez Environment CEO to work with Andhra Pradesh in water treatment plants and power generation projects.

He explained the opportunities in the State for working jointly. Bruno Sater who belongs to Zurich met the CM and hoped cooperation with the State government. He said that they would send one team for Andhra Pradesh soon. On this occasion, CM inquired the digital transactions in Switzerland.

Meanwhile, University of California chancellor Nicolas Ducks discussed with CM on digital currency. The CM said the government planned to bring the digital transactions from 30 per cent to 70 per cent.

In the same way, Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with Hyperloop Transport Corporation Company chairman Bibop. They discussed on bullet trains and speed trains. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and several officials were also present in the meetings.
