Guntur: Guntur district manager of BSNL said that new service BSNL-SBI Mobicash wallet was launched with an intention of enhancing cashless transactions by consumers, retailers and franchises.

No bank accounts, bank cards or IFSC codes are required to make cashless transactions with this service and it can be loaded from any of the BSNL retailers. One can transfer amount to bank accounts or collect cash from retailers if they do not want to make transactions.

The smart phone users can avail this service by downloading apps or logging into website. The basic phone users can also use this service with the help of SMS and USSD. In the primary phase, one can make only BSNL bill payments and money transfers. In the next phase, it allows to pay merchant bills, other operator bills and citizen service bills.
