Atmakur (Kurnool): District Collector Vijay Mohan paid a surprise visit to various projects in the district on Monday.
The Collector inspected Srisailam back water, Srisailam Right Main Canal, Velugodu, Telugu-Ganga, Cross regulator at Banakacherla Complex and Lift irrigation works at Siddhapuram.
He asked the officials about the release of water at Velugodu Balancing Reservoir (VBR). He discussed on how to substantiate drinking water for the coming summer in case the water is given for second crop.
