Vijayawada: PCC general secretary Rajeev Ratan said he was ready to accept the challenge of Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu for an open debate on spending of funds under SC, ST sub-plan.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Rajeev Ratan said the claims of the Minister on spending funds under SC, ST sub-plan were totally false.
He said the Congress would stick to its stand that the TDP government diverted the funds allocated under the SC, ST sub-plan.
“The figures we made public on diversion of funds are as per the government records received under the Right to Information Act. It is shame to divert funds allocated under SC, ST sub-plan to other programmes,” he said.
