Participating as the chief guest in the inaugural programme of five-day workshop on ‘Smart Electric Power grid with emphasis on Embedded Systems and Cyber Security ’held here on Tuesday, the JNTU-K Vice Chancellor asked students to be independent and play the anchor role in building the nation.

The workshop is being organized jointly by EEE, Mechanical Engineering & CSE, UCEK departments from February 21 to 25. He remarked that taking part in technical workshops would benefit students in finding job opportunities that exist nationally and globally.

Also, he asked students to capitalize on the existing job opportunities in embedded systems and cyber security. Both these offer lucrative salaries tool, noted the JNTU-K Vice Chancellor.

Prof. B Prabhakara Rao, Rector, Prof K VRamana, OSD, Prof GVR Prasada Raju, Principal of the university engineering college attended as the guests of honor.
A Rajani, Asst. Professor, ECE department, K Prasad, Asst. Professor, Mechanical Engineering and T Murali Mohan, Asst. Professor, EEE department, are acting as coordinators for the five-day programme. G Tirumala Rao, Retd.

Scientist of ISRO and Prof. D M Vinod Kumar, from NIT, Warangal acted as resource persons on the first day of the five-day workshop. Besides, directors, programme directors, heads of various departments, professors, faculty members, research scholars and students attended the first day of workshop. E Suneetha, Asst. Professor, CSE department welcomed the gathering.
