Addressing the media after his win, Vakati Narayana Reddy heaped praises on Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for extending moral support to him.
Crediting all the TDP cadre members of the district to his success in the MLC elections, he said that it is his second victory and people are expecting more efforts from him in terms of the development of the district.
TDP candidate Vakati Narayana Reddy bagged the Nellore MLC seat under local bodies quota with a narrow margin of 85 votes and defeated YSRCP candidate Anam Vijaya Kumar Reddy.
