Amaravati: Amidst protests over leakage of class X science question paper in Nellore by YSRCP legislators in the House, the government has passed eight bills on Tuesday.

Agriculture minister Prathipati Pulla Rao introduced Andhra Pradesh Fisheries and Ocean University (Establishment and Regulation Bill) 2017 and it was passed by the Assembly.

The bill was aimed at setting up Ocean University.

Health minister Dr Kamineni Srinivas moved the Dentist (AP Amendment) Bill 2017, minister for labour and employment K Atchannaidu introduced the Andhra Pradesh Issuance of Integrated Registration and Furnishing of Combined Returns under various Labour laws by certain Establishments Amendment Bill 2017, which was passed by the House.

Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishna Murthy moved the Right to Fair Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Andhra Pradesh Amendment) Bill 2017 and The Andhra Pradesh Dotted Lands Bill 2017.

Both these bills were passed amidst protests by the YSRCP MLAs. Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy, minister for Information and public relations and information technology moved the Andhra Pradesh Core Digital Data Authority (Effective Delivery of E-Services) Bill 2017.

Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu introduced AP Appropriation bill 2017, which was passed by the Assembly. Finance minister had introduced the eighth and the last bill in the Assembly in the evening.

While the finance minister was speaking in the Assembly, the YSRCP legislators left the house.
