Funds released for upgrading IIT, IIM

New Delhi: Sufficient operational funds have been released to the IIT at Tirupati and the IIM at Visakhapatnam, according to Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey, Minister of State for HRD.
He told the Rajya Sabha here on Thursday that Rs 42 crore for the IIT and Rs 29.63 crore for the IIM had been released for upgrading hostel and campus facilities in these two institutes as they had been established recently.
