Vijayawada: SSC examinations in the state concluded on Thursday. One case of malpractice was booked for the social studies paper II in West Godavari. In all, 42 students were booked under malpractice across the state.

As many as 2,804 students were absent for the last examination. A total of 11,137 centres were covered by the flying squads and the district level observers for all the examinations in the state. No mass copying is reported from any centre in the State, said the director of government examinations VS Bhargava in a statement on Thursday.

For social studies paper-II, 56,347 candidates attended and 279 students were absent, said district educational officer, Krishna district A Subba Reddy on Thursday.

The examinations went off peacefully without any case of malpractice. In all, 99.51 percent candidates attended the examination at all the 281 examination centres, he added.
