Cement roads, drains to be constructed in Dalit colonies :Badeti Kota Ramarao
MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao (Bujji) said that cement roads and drains would be constructed in Dalit colonies with a cost of Rs 35 crore. He inaugurated cement roads, drains and drinking water pipeline works in Lankapeta and Israelpet on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has agreed to sanction Rs 35 crore under SC Sub Plan to provide basic amenities in Dalit Colonies. “During last financial year Rs.20 crore was spent to provide CC roads and drains in Dalit colonies,” he added.
He assured that all basic amenities will be provided in Dalit colonies by 2019.Mayor Sheikh Noorjahan said that the municipal corporation will take necessary steps for the financial upliftment of the Dalits and the poor. In-charge collector P Koteswara Rao, SP Bhaskar Bushan and others were present.
