Party activist V Satish kumar alleged that MPs belonging to the TDP and BJP were not exerting pressure n the Central government to grant SCS to the state. The MPs who were elected from AP should resign to their posts as they failed to secure the Special Status, he demanded. He pointed out that the TRS MPs were fighting in Parliament for funds allocation to the state.Another Jana Sena activist Siva Prasad said that the state will witness overall development only through SCS.

He said they would continue their agitation until the Centre sanctioned the Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. Jana Sena activist Ram Mohan alleged that the Central government was giving priority to North India states over Southern states in funds allocation. said that Andhra Pradesh is eligible for special status.
