Demo e-portal for auctioning AgirGold, Akshaya Gold properties given
The division bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Justice V Ramasubramanian and Justice S V Bhatt was given a demo in the Court hall on the functioning of the proposed e-portal developed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh that would be used for auctioning the attached properties of AgriGold and Akshaya Gold companies.

Technoical officers of AP Technology Services presented to the court a step by step account of how the portal would function for conducting the auctions on Thursday. The bench sought clarifications on various aspects, including on the pros and cons of announcing the reserve bid price or not announcing it.
After the presentation, the bench directed the Special Government Pleader Krishna Prakash to inform the Andhra Pradesh government through the Advocate General to officially launch the portal shortly as it would have to start auctioning the AgriGold and Akshaya Gold properties.
It also directed the AP CID to come up with a list of at least 15 properties of both these companies with complete details, so that they may be put up for auction in the first round. The matter has been adjourned to Tuesday for next hearing.
