Kartikeya Mishra assumes charge as collector

Kakinada: Kartikeya Mishra who assumed charge as 145th collector of East Godavari, on Thursday assured over all development of the district. A computer science graduate from BITS pilani, he did MBA from IIM Ahmadabad and was selected to IAS in 2009. He served as sub collector in Nazamabad and Visakhapatnam districts in united state. Prior to this new assignment as collector he served as director, AP industries department and played a key role in conducting partnership summit organised at Visakhapatnam in the last week of January this year.

Speaking to media persons on this occasion at his chambers in collect orate, he said that he would inspire the district officials with team spirit to implement welfare and developmental schemes. Kartikeya expressed delight over his selection to head the administration for the biggest district in the state. Rahamahendravaram sub collector Vijaya Krishnan, municipal commissioner Vijayarama Raju were present.
