Fond farewell to Anantapur Collector Kona Sasidhar
Outgoing District Collector Kona Sasidhar said that the 30 months of his tenure in the district gave him immense satisfaction and it was an opportunity to serve the drought stricken people of the district by effectively implementing welfare and developmental schemes.
Anantapur: Outgoing District Collector Kona Sasidhar said that the 30 months of his tenure in the district gave him immense satisfaction and it was an opportunity to serve the drought stricken people of the district by effectively implementing welfare and developmental schemes. Responding to farewell given by the revenue employees and other district officers here on Saturday, Sasidhar said that the people of the district were affectionate and district officers very cooperative as such he was carrying sweet memories of a decent tenure in the district.

He said he would always remember the people of the district and will not lose any opportunity to help this district in future. He thanked the Chief Minister for having faith in him and supporting all his efforts to realize his vision and mission of a drought-free Anantapur.Despite hailing from the coastal region, he had special love for Rayalaseema. Sasidhar said that he cleared every file by treating them as precious lives involved. Behind every success of his, officers of the district had a role. He said that he is very happy to take Handri-Neeva water up to Gollapalle.
If water is available more industries would come. He revealed that a very big industry would soon be established and added that he would attend the foundation ceremony. He thanked SP Rajasekhar Babu and Joint Collector B Lakshmikantham for their affection and support to him. The SP has praised Sasidhar for giving effective administration to the people and for being responsive to the aspirations of the people.
Additional Joint Collector Syed Khaja Mohiuddin described Sasidhar as an able administrator and with his skills brought out inherent talents of officers and employees to better serve people. DRO Malleshwari, DRDA Project Director Venkateswarlu, DWMA Project Director A Nagabhushanam, Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations Jayamma and others were present.
