Jagan, who was in Pulivendula to observe 19th death anniversary of his grandfather YS Raja Reddy accused Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of encouraging ‘Hatyarajakeeyalu’.

Speaking to mediapersons, here on Tuesday, he alleged that Naidu played a key role in the murder of C Narayana Reddy. “It was KE Krishnamurthy, who implemented the conspiracy,” he charged.

Stating that C Narayana Reddy's wife would contest the election from Pattikonda constituency, he demanded CBI probe over the issue. While defending his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recently in Delhi, Jagan clarified that there was no vested interest or political motive.

“I met PM to express unconditional solidarity to the presidential candidate proposed by BJP-lead NDA government,” he said. He recalled that his party has taken same step during the election of president Pranab Mukherji and Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.
