Eluru: Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association District President L V Sagar said that the Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee (JAC) would take part in the Amaravati Foundation Day celebrations in Eluru town on June 25. Speaking to the media at the Revenue Bhavan here on Sunday,

he said that around 75 presidents of various associations and their general secretaries would be participating in the Foundation Day celebrations. As part of the celebrations, a big rally and a massive public meeting would also be conducted in Eluru, he added. He said that they were speeding up the arrangements for the celebrations.

The Revenue Services leader alleged that the present JAC Chairman P Ashok Babu has miserably failed to solve the problems of employees, teachers, workers and pensioners. Following his failure, the AP-JAC Amaravati has been instituted under the leadership of Bopparaju Venakteswarlu.

He said that so far, nine district committees have been set up in the State. He said that all NGO associations, except the treasury and teachers associations in West Godavari district were supporting the APJAC. The Revenue Association president demanded the government to continue with the old pension scheme by abolishing the CPS system. He also demanded the regularisation of the services of contract employees and release of the 10th PRC arrears immediately.

He said that the APJAC would also submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu urging him to resolve their problems. Several association leaders G Ananda Rao, DE Narasimharaju, l Y Nagaraju, V Venkateswara Rao, M Lakshminarayana, M Ramu, TBSNV Murthy, DJ Sampath Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
