Photo exhibition to save water
A photo exhibition called ‘Water- The Elixir of Life’ was organised by Chiraharit Pvt. Ltd., the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) and Andhra Pradesh photography academy at the CCVA premises.

Minister for agriculture, Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy was the special guest for the programme. 38 photographers from AP displayed 160 photos and winners were selected.
“Water is one of the most important and essential things in life and every drop of water has to be protected. By protecting water we are benefiting the farmers,” he said. Malaxmi Group chairman Y Harish Chandra Prasad said that the programme was organised to bring awareness among people about water conservation,” he said.
Ministers S Chandra Mohan Reddy, Kollu Ravindra, Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rammohan Rao and AP Photography academy secretary T Srinivas Reddy presented certificates to the photographers. Photographer C Vijaya Kumar was specially honoured on getting international award out of 6387 participants from 133 countries.
He will be receiving the award in China on September 16 from the China Folklore photographic Association. CCVA CEO Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, Chiraharit CEO Pavan Kumar Bung, Malakshmi projects CEO Sandeep Andhra Art academy secretary Golla Narayana Rao were present at the exhibition.
