New lease of life for diabetic patient
Patient suffering from chronic diabetes and high sugar levels above 850 was brought in a serious condition to VGR Diabetes Super Specialty Hospital. She was given the best treatment and got a new ease of life, said Dr K Venu Gopal Reddy here on Saturday.

Speaking to the media persons on the hospital premises, he said that a woman aged 65, a farm worker, was brought with high sugar levels, urine infection, kidney problem, abnormal body salts and other complaints. He said that she was brought in a serious condition last week, but a team of 10 doctors took it as a challenge and gave her the best treatment. She was on continuous supervision and sugar levels of the patient were brought to normal, he added.
He said that with the latest equipment, sugar levels are tested and treatment was given to the patients. He said that for the past 11 years, he had been treating diabetic patients and suggested to have daily exercise, timely diet, medicines and regular checkup to stay healthy.
