Joint Collector of Prakasam district S Nagalakshmi announced that the government has sanctioned Rs 105 crore for the construction of a new complex of building for the Collectorate. She ordered the heads of all departments to submit the built up area required for them in the new Collectorate by June 27.

Ongole: Joint Collector of Prakasam district S Nagalakshmi announced that the government has sanctioned Rs 105 crore for the construction of a new complex of building for the Collectorate. She ordered the heads of all departments to submit the built up area required for them in the new Collectorate by June 27.

She conducted a meeting on the topic ‘Construction of New Collectorate and Space Allocation’ with the head of the departments at the CPO conference hall. She asked the officials to submit the details like the allotted staff in their office, probable recruitment of additional staff, extent of space required,

present office details, including the ownership of the building, with the required facilities like chambers, waiting room, meeting hall, labs, training room and parking. She said that a command and control room will be constructed in the Collectorate, along with facilities like meeting hall and video conference room.

DRO N Prabhakar Reddy said that the government employees were classified into five categories viz head of the department in A category, administrating officers in B category, senior assistants in C category, junior assistants, typists, record assistants and outsourcing staff in D category.
