Anganwadis to be developed as English Medium Schools
Guntur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Challa Anuradha said that Anganwadi Centres in the city would be developed as model Anganwadi English Medium Schools during the first phase.
Guntur: Guntur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Challa Anuradha said that Anganwadi Centres in the city would be developed as model Anganwadi English Medium Schools during the first phase.
Addressing a meeting at the GMC office here on Saturdat, she said that during the first phase 10 centres would be developed as Model Anganwadi English Medium Schools.
KVP Colony, Srinivasarao Thota, Swarna Bharati Nagar, Postal Colony, DS Workers Colony, Sanjeevaiah Nagar,
Anganwadi Centre at 1--20 Brodipet would be developed as Model Anganwadi English Medium Schools.
She said that smart classrooms, LED TVs, benches, toys, fans Would be set up to attract the children. Shoes, school bags, books school uniforms would be given free of cost. She said that Model Anganwadi English Medium Schools would be developed on par with corporate schools. She urged the parents to avail of the facility provided by the government.
