Chittoor: Industries Minister N. Amaranatha Reddy said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was exploring all possibilities to develop the state as a model one by utilising the natural resources and technical knowhow.

In this regard,it was decided to expend Rs 300 crore for the development of National Highways in the state without causing any inconvenience to the public he added.

The Minister made a whirlwind tour in Palamaner assembly constituency on Sunday laying foundation stones for several CC roads and inauguration of various school building rooms covering Kathirapalli, Chintalapalli, Madanapalli, Chirmanapalli, Rajupalli , Battamdoddi and other villages in Peddapanjani Mandal , Palamaner Assembly Constituency .

Inaugurating a class room building at Peddapanjani, Reddy said that there is a need to expand the National Highways in Chittoor district for which the cooperation of the public would be crucial.

He assured that the government would shoulder the responsibility for remitting the compensation for demolished houses during its expansion. He said the proposed high National Highway between Madanapalle and Peddpanjani would be more
advantageous for improving transport facilities.

Referring the educational standards in government educational institutions, the Minister reiterated that the government has a strong commitment to strengthening the government schools at par with corporate schools. He assured that enormous reforms would take place shortly in developing the social welfare hostels.
