Amaravati: Finding fault over the performance of some party leaders Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed displeasure for not reacting sharply against criticism and allegations levelled by Opposition parties. He held a meeting with the ministers’ committee, which was formed to ensure better coordination between party and the government at Secretariat on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Naidu reminded that his government made appointed large number of nominated posts, which no other government has done so far. Asserting that the nominated posts concerning to state, district and constituency will be filled in future only based on performance and merits, he warned that no recommendations or lobbying would be entertained at any cost. “Every parliamentary constituency will have four-member committee consisting of district minister, MLA, party secretary and executive secretary,” he informed.

Disclosing that party would take up ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam’ programme across the state, Naidu asked the leaders to create awareness among the people over the welfare schemes being implemented by the government. He announced that he would undertake district tours very soon and visit ideal villages, where he would participate in seminars and interact with students.

Slamming opposition YSRC for making false allegations against the government he said that the Opposition party, which tried to create hurdles in the development process by filing cases against Capital Amaravati, was now trying to provoke castes in the state. He asked the party leaders to expose the opposition’s conspiracies in the public meetings.

TDP state president and minister K Kala Venkata Rao, ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and P Narayana, communication advisor Parakala Prabhakar, MLC VVV Choudhary and other leaders were present.
