Delhi Jumper breaks new meet record
G Karthika of Andhra Prradesh won bronze medal in women’s Triple Jump and helped the AP to win fourth medal in 57th Inter-State Athletics Championship is being conducted at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur district on Monday, the third day of four-day event.

Karthika completed her task by distance 12.51 meters to win bronze medal. While silver medalist Joline M Lobo of Karnataka jumped 12.52 metres.
In Men and Women 4X100m Relay Andhra Pradesh athletes disappointed spectators while the host Andhra Pradesh Athletics Association expected medals in Relay events. In Men section High Jump new meet record was created by Tejaswin Shankar of Delhi by height of 2.23 meters, while the old record was 2.22 meters which was created by Harishankar Roy in Bhopal in 2007.
