P V Sindhu gets appointment order as Deputy Collector
The state government issued order appointing ace shuttler PV Sindhu as deputy collector. PV Sindhu along with her parents visited Secretariat at Velagapudi on Thursday and received appointment orders from Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Wishing her success in the future international events the Chief Minister asked Sindhu to strive for the development of sports in the state as group-1 officer. Thanking the Chief Minister for appointing her as deputy collector Sindhu said that sports was her first priority and she would dedicate herself for the development of sports.
It may be recalled the state government has announced group-1 post for Sindhu after winning silver medal in Rio Olympics. It has also announced Rs 3 crore cash reward and one thousand sq yards plot in Amaravati.
