Veteran director Viswanath felicitated
The management and faculty members of the Vasireddy Vankatadri Institute of Technology (VIVA-VVIT) felicitated Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient and veteran film director K Vishwanath at the VVIT premises in the city on Friday.
Guntur: The management and faculty members of the Vasireddy Vankatadri Institute of Technology (VIVA-VVIT) felicitated Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient and veteran film director K Vishwanath at the VVIT premises in the city on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Viswanath said nobody knew the secret of a film’s success and added that if one film was successful, some more films would be produced on the same theme. It was not easy to predict the outcome of a film, he added. He said not only films, every business should have some social responsibility and added that film artistes were influencing the society.
Similarly, he said that parents should take steps to imbibe good qualities among their children and mould their personalities accordingly. He felt that if people start shunning bad films, automatically good films would come.
Later,VVIT Chairman Vasireddy Vidyasagar and College principal Mallikarjuna Rao felicitated K Viswanath.
Lecturer and students were also present on the occasion in large numbers.
