Medical and Health department Principal Secretary Poonam Malakondaiah said the government in association with voluntary organisations is gearing up for holistic development of tribals. She held a review meeting on health and medicals services being rendered to tribals with officials concerned and heads of various voluntary organisations, at PMRC Bhavan in Kurnool on Monday.

She held a review meeting on health and medicals services being rendered to tribals with officials concerned and heads of various voluntary organisations, at PMRC Bhavan in Kurnool on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Malakondaiah said three-wheeler-ambulances will be arranged to places’ that doesn’t have road faciality. “Tie-ups with organisations will be finalised in a meeting within 15 days. Surveys will be conducted with the help of these organisations and will come up with a plan for developmental activities,” she stated.

Srisailam Temple Executive Officer Bharath Narayana Gupta, ITDA Project Officer Venkata Murali, officials from Medical and Health department, voluntary organisations representatives from Ramakrishna Mission, Chinmaya Mission, Paramahamsa Yogananda Mission, Azim Premji Foundation, RDJ and Srisailam Trust were among those present.
