Chittoor: To develop his own dairy Heritage, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his followers have destroyed the prospects of Chittoor Cooperative Dairy and Chittoor Cooperative Sugar Factory, according to YSRCP District Mahila president Gayathri Devi.

The farmers in the CM’s home constituency were leading miserable lives due to closing of dairy and sugar factory keeping their fertile lands idle, she decried. It may be recalled here District Farmers Society President Venkatachalam Naidu, who is popularly known as Chittoor Gandhi, has been observing hunger fast in front of Chittoor defunct dairy for the last four days.

On Monday, Gayathri Devi has made him to withdraw his stir assuring that YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy would take immediate steps for resuming all the defunct cooperative institutions in the district once he comes to power.

Addressing the media here on Monday, she appreciated the strong commitment of Venkatachalam Naidu for resuming dairy. “The TDP government has no ears and eyes. It has no concern for farmers. It used to give false promises for farmers to defend its failures in all respects for developing the district,” she pointed out.
