TDP accuses Mudragada of misleading Kapus
Vizianagaram TDP MLA, Meesala Geetha alleged that Mudragada Padmanabham is misleading the Kapus in the name of Padayatra. She warned the people of Andhra Pradesh to be cautious about Mudragada. Geetha was accompanied by another TDP MLA, Vangalapudi Anitha during a press conference held at Nandyal TDP office on Thursday.

Meesala Geetha queried as to why Mudragada, as a minister, didn’t show the same concern for Kapus. The earlier rulers have exploited Kapus only to strengthen their vote bank. Even Jagan also did not enlist Kapu reservations in his manifesto. She said Mudragada during his visit to Vizianagaram had gone to Kapu houses of those belonging to YSR Congress Party.
“What was Mudragada’s intention in visiting their houses leaving others aside? Did Mudragada not see other Kapus at Vizianagaram, she asked.
She said that Chief Minister, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu has established a corporation for Kapus and also has been extending financial assistance for their children who want to pursue education abroad. Even Naidu has also assured that Kapus would be enrolled under Backward Caste. But the opposition leaders are spreading negative message that Kapus are being ignored by Naidu. The government has also constituted Manjunath Commission to study the feasibility, stated Meesala Geetha.
Another TDP MLA, Vangalapudi Anitha strongly reacted on the comments of Jagan, about shooting and hanging of Naidu. She also said that, Jagan himself is a thief and is calling others are also the same. Jagan is gripped in fear of losing the election is touring door- to door -seeking votes. People of Nandyal are not in a position to believe Jagan who has spent 16 months in jail, said Anitha.
Focusing on Roja’s dialogues, Anitha said, ‘we were taught a decent language by Naidu and cannot be like you who use filthy language’. Roja’s language is making women bow their heads in shame, she added. It is the culture of YSR Congress Party who treat Dalits in the meanest manner and said Jagan and Roja both are anti- Dalits.
She said that Roja’s campaigning is favouring Telugu Desam Party as she was being hated by the people of Nandyal. Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy’s victory is sure and will witness a thumping majority, stated Vangalapudi Anitha.
