Workshop on study skills for students held

Vijayawada: Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Haryana, Prof Adam Paul on Thursday stressed the importance of proper utilisation of human resources.
He was the resource person of the DBT sponsored workshop on ‘Study Skills for Science Students’ organised by the Department of Physics, Andhra Loyola College (ALC) here on Thursday. Adam Paul had presented various techniques for learning, improving memory, stress management and trained the students for developing a magnetic personality which is needed for a holistic life.
In the present technological era, he said that the students were facing many problems and they were not able to cope up with the stress as per the statistics. Globally for every 40 seconds one person commits suicide and such things are happening only due to lack of awareness about facing problems in life.
He stressed the importance of education which helps in solving their problems. The resource person further threw light on the values of life, provided career guidance and enabled the students for choosing a career according to their capabilities and interests.
