Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked the party leaders to be cautious on the evil designs of the opposition YSRC which is conspiring to postpone the Nandyal by-election.

Addressing the TDP's coordination committee meeting held at Secretariat on Thursday, Naidu said that he is having clear cut information on the vicious plans of YSRC Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is trying to provoke the people in the name of caste, religion and region for deferring the elections. He said that YSRC which is worried of losing the battle is planning to create terror among the people by creating a law and order problem.

Referring to the recent provocative speeches of Jagan, who said that Chief Minister should be shot in the street, Naidu observed that it is all a part of conspiracy designed by that party which has already lost the moral right to contest the elections and trying to defer the polls.

"People of Nandyal are with us. Our welfare schemes have benefitted every section. Our credibility is our asset and people have confidence on us," he asserted.

Asking the party leaders to be more cautious and not to fall a prey into the trap of YSRC’s vicious designs, Naidu said people of Nandyal are intelligent, who knew the best choice.
