TDP leader killed in car mishap
Telugu Desam Party leader and co-opted member of State Irrigation Board Kumar Goud was killed on Sunday afternoon when the Scorpio in which he was travelling overturned near the PeddaThambulam village in Adoni mandal.

Speaking to the media, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kolli Srinivasa Rao said that Goud was killed on the spot. He said that the driver who sustained serious injuries was shifted to the Kurnool government hospital.
He said that Kumar Goud has a cotton mill near Shapur at Raichur in Karnataka. He was returning to his native place Alur after completing the works at his mill in his Scorpio car.
When his car reached Peddatumbulam, the driver lost control at the sharp curve and the vehicle overturned and fell into a ditch. Goud’s relatives and party leaders, including former MLA Meenakshi Naidu, visited the spot and conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family.
