A 30-year-old man was arrested in Chittoor district on Monday for allegedly posting morphed photos of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh on social media.
A 30-year-old man was arrested in Chittoor district on Monday for allegedly posting morphed photos of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh on social media.
The man, identified as Basavaraju who hailed from Kaliganuru village of Santhipuram had morphed the pictures of the CM and Nara Lokesh showcasing them as if they were beaten up by women. He then posted the pictures on social media and even trolled the Chandrababu's Nandyal campaign.
The posts were made on a page titled 'YSRCP unofficial'. TDP leader Subbu filed a complaint in this regard and the police have registered a case against Basavaraju, further taking him into custody.
