Says the government is in constant touch with people to deliver corrupt-free governance

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that complaints against corruption were decreasing gradually in the state with measures taken by the government by strengthening delivery mechanism for welfare schemes and providing online services to curb the menace of corruption. He said government was on constant touch with people through Pariskara Vedika with toll free number 1100 to deliver corruption free good governance.

Addressing a press conference at secretariat on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that the real time governance unit would be shifted to secretariat by September 15 He said development schemes before elections in Nandyal had been taken up following a positive response received from public using IVRS system.

He said that though the state government introduced reforms in sand policy. “We will strengthen sand delivery mechanism with iron hand. Cases will be booked under PD Act on those who are smuggling sand by providing mobile checking squads and arrange CCTV cameras at inter-state borders” he said.

Talking about belt shops, Naidu said that officials were directed to remove all belt shops and liquor shops which were in residential areas. The Chief Minister hinted on using drones to curb the ganja cultivation and smuggling in Agency areas.
Referring SIT investigation on land scam in Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister said 70 per cent satisfaction level achieved by the government on SIT investigation. He said 2,000 complaints received and action would be initiated against the erring officials.

“Pattadar pass books will be available through Mee Seva centres and 90 per cent satisfaction levels achieved on the online services of pattadar pass books. The Chief Minister said 85 per cent satisfaction level achieved in online services in town planning,” he informed.
