Tirupati: Students of Spring Dale Public School has celebrated Vinayaka Chavithi in a unique way here on Wednesday. The students of the school donned Vinayaka characters and depicted eco-friendly Ganesha.
School correspondent KS Vasu laid emphasis on the usage of eco-friendly clay Vinayaka idols instead of PoP idols, which damages the pristine environment.
These programmes were held every year to create awareness among parents through their wards on the usage of clay idols. School principal KR Anuradha Gopal, HM V Prameela Krishnan, AO K Chandrasekhar, T Sambasiva Reddy, teachers and students took part in the celebrations.
