GITAM University School of International Business (GSIB) organised a CEO lecture series on ‘logistics, present world scenario’ here on Wednesday. Addressing the faculty and students, MAERSK Shipping Line Global Head Sanjay Tiwari highlighted the changing landscape of logistics and supply chain industry globally and specifically in India.

Visakhapatnam: GITAM University School of International Business (GSIB) organised a CEO lecture series on ‘logistics, present world scenario’ here on Wednesday. Addressing the faculty and students, MAERSK Shipping Line Global Head Sanjay Tiwari highlighted the changing landscape of logistics and supply chain industry globally and specifically in India.

The students are lucky to be in this changing economic situation of India when there was growing demand for logistics and supply chain services. He mentioned that the multi-fold growth of this sector has opened new avenues for employment and student community will benefit by it.

Clay Ganesh idols distributed Celebrating the Vinayaka Chavithi and Diwali festivals in an eco-friendly manner is considered as doing some good to environment which comes under Swatchh Bharath, observed GITAM University Vice-Chancellor MS Prasada Rao here on Wednesday.

Participating in a programme to distribute eco-friendly Vinayaka idols organised by GITAM Institute of Science Environmental Science Department, the VC mentioned that using toxic colours and Plaster of Paris while preparing idols would affect water resources.
