SP Ch Vijaya Rao launches e-challan system
Guntur urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao launched the e-challan system in the city on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that from now onwards, they would send e-challans to the motorists or drivers who violate traffic rules.The e-challan system has been introduced for more transparency, he added. Guntur: Guntur urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao launched the e-challan system in the city on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that from now onwards, they would send e-challans to the motorists or drivers who violate traffic rules.The e-challan system has been introduced for more transparency, he added. He said that those who violated the traffic rules would have to pay the penalty when they receive the challan at the vehicle owner’s residence to collect the penalty.
He has to pay the penalty amount within fifteen days in the e-seva centre or through his debit card, the SP added.
Later, he distributed swiping machines and blue tooth printers to all the police stations to implement the e-challan system.

He advised the vehicle owners who did not register their vehicles on their name to immediately get them registered.
He further said that as soon as vehicle number was entered in the App, the vehicle owner’s address along with other relevant details would be displayed.He urged the vehicle owners not to violate the traffic rules and co-operate.
