Flaying YSRC president and Opposition Leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy for fielding his party candidate in Nandyal contrary to the traditions, Naidu recalled that his party didn`t fielded a candidate in by-elections after the demise of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Sobha Nagireddy. He said that the voters taught a lesson to Jagan, who fielded a candidate violating the old traditions, in which the seat will be allotted to the kin of the deceased leader and the election would be unanimous.

“For the first time an opposition leader stooped to such a low level that he campaigned for 15-days staying in Nandyal and visiting every house to beg votes. He became a laughing stock. Jagan has crossed all limits while asking the people to hang me, shoot me and strip me on the streets. Though the election commission warned him against using abusive words, there was no change in the attitude of Jagan,” he noted. Comparing Jagan with Dera Sach Souda’s Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the CM said that the Opposition Leader has been creating hurdles for the development.

Recalling the past incidents, where Jagan has created drama at Vizag airport and his misbehaviour with Krishna district collector during the road accident; Naidu said such incidents are not good for society as well as democracy. “It is because of Jagan, a few industrialists are also jailed, the state lost credibility and the investors have not come forward. Due to our hard work and sincerity we have brought lakh of crores of investments into the state and several industries are establishing,” he asserted.

Responding to a query, Chief Minister said it was Jagan who announced of resigning his MPs after budget sessions for the sake of Special Category Status and he should stand by his word. The Chief Minister said that the TDP would win the Kakinada civic elections.
