Hyderabad High Court has dismissed the petition filed by YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking to exempt him from appearing in person before the CBI court in 11 assets cases.

In his petition, YS Jagan mentioned that his lawyer would be in attendance instead of him before the CBI court and cited the reason behind as time needed to devote towards the activities of the party.

However, the CBI lawyers opposed his petition in the High Court. Following the arguments, the HC struck down the petition.
