One killed, six others injured in two cars head-on collision

In a tragic road mishap, a person was killed when a speeding car lost control due to tyre burst and collided into another vehicle in West Godavari district on Tuesday morning.

The car which was heading from Gundugolanu village from Bhimavaram with six passengers rammed into the other vehicle that was on its way to Tadepalligudem from Eluru.

The incident occurred at Pathuru near sugar factory leaving six others grieviously injured. One of them is said to be in a critical condition and has been shifted to Asram hospital in Eluru.
